Organizations join ELISA because they want to collaborate with other product makers and certification authorities to establish how Linux can be effectively used in applications that require safety engineering to ensure that safety capability is achieved with the stated degree of rigor.
Formal application for membership is required. ELISA Membership also requires companies/organizations to be corporate members of the Linux Foundation.
